Dizdar, Hakan Gence’s, “What is the secret of being able to exist only with the work you do without being too obvious?” He gave the following answer to the question; “I always go to the same places, my friends are always the same. That’s why we’re just talking about the work I’ve done. This preference is on the one hand, of course. It seems more secure that way. So I think distance is good for everyone and everything.”
Stating that he paid attention to the scenario first while choosing a project, the actor said; “I try to choose the works that I want to tell, that I want to understand the character. I don’t look at it as a big or small role. If I like the story, if I can tell the character in every way and if I can contribute to the work, I will enter with my eyes closed. What matters is how you pass the story to the audience. I don’t know if there is another trick,” he said.
Merve Dizdar, who admitted that she gained fame with the series Innocent Apartments, said, “But I was always acting. I graduated from the conservatory in 2008. Think about it; from that day until today… People recognized me now. Fame hasn’t changed my lifestyle. It didn’t change my attitude or my style. But I am more distant towards people.
The difficulty with being a more popular actor is that people are generating ideas when they don’t have one. Making comments on what they see or hear, without knowing what kind of person you are. That’s the hardest part. We should focus more on our work, produce more, read more.”
