Medyanotu.com / Detay – Arka Sokaklar TV series for 16 seasons and attracting the attention of a large fan base with the character of Mesut, Şevket Çoruh will no longer take part in this story. Due to the 45-day break in the shooting of the Arka Sokaklar series, the audience is also upset that they will not be able to watch a new episode until the new year.
Although it was announced that such a decision was taken due to the illness of producer Türker İnanoğlu, there are also allegations that Kanal D has problems due to payment problems. Şevket Çoruh left the TV series Arka Sokaklar, in which he appeared for 16 seasons, and this caused the ratings to drop and the series to regress in Friday competition.
Şevket Çoruh will continue on his way with both theater and cinema. The actress, who will appear in front of her fans on December 2 with the movie titled Dance with Jackals 6, continues her theater activities.
Şevket Çoruh, who founded a theater called Baba Sahne in Istanbul and invested his earnings from the series in this hall, decided to intensify his theater activities in an excited way. As a result of this decision, the information that he left the series was reflected in the press.
Şevket Çoruh’s statement about his departure from the Arka Sokaklar series was also curious. The actor said the following on the question about this separation:
“I am in the theatre. I’m at Baba Sahne. I’m going on tours. We play our games. Apart from that, new projects, projects for the theatre. You know, I retired from Back Streets. I am enjoying retirement. I have no intentions for a rerun project. I usually want to do things related to theatre, that’s how I want to spend this season.”
Reminding that producer Türker İnanoğlu had health problems in the TV series Arka Sokaklar, Şevket Çoruh said, “Brother Türker is a very resilient and strong person. He had an accident and broke his hip bone. Get well soon. A great veteran, a great cinema man. He will recover as soon as possible,” he said.
